WinGAP Wgparcel
Add-on Wgparcel was developed by the Information Technology Outreach
Service (ITOS) of the
Wgparcel is an add-on program for WinGAP. It
allows any user to view selected layer from a county’s geographic information
system. It is not designed to replace a county’s geographic information system but
simply to allow access to the data without expensive licensing necessary to
have GIS software loaded at each workstation on the network.
A user may turn on and off any layers they
desire to view.
A user may also select an area to zoom into.
A user can get selected information on any
parcel using the information tool.
This information is displayed in a new
window.
Additional information may be accessed from
a pull down menu.
Simple queries can be run using the query
builder.
The results will be displayed on the map
canvas.
You can also perform very limited editing of
the WinGAP databases for the selected features.
You can add additional layers as they are
created for the county’s geographic information system.

Includes how to install, use and troubleshoot problems with WGParcel Read the installation and
troubleshooting files, if you encounter problems or need assistance please contact
wingap tech support. Note: You may have to manually register the executable. If you get
an invocation error this will be the case. To manually register the plug-in go
to Run on the start menu and type regsvr32, then open your windows explorer and
go to the WinGAP folder find the file wgparcel.dll. Left-click and hold on the
file then drag it to the Run window then release the mouse. You should now be
able to press enter and complete the manual registration process |
